Reese Blutstein -  ATLANTA, GA

Age: 20

Occupation: I blog for a hobby and go to school.

Bedtime: I like to stay up late so I usually go to bed around 12 A.M. unless I have something to do in the morning. I like the idea of going to bed early, but I can never seem to pull it off.

Wake up: Usually around 8:30-9:00 A.M.

How would you describe your morning routine?
It really depends on what I am doing that day, but it is usually slow. I definitely wouldn’t say calm, because I have three dogs and once I am awake they are all really excited to start the day so that makes my mornings a little more chaotic. When I wake up I usually look at my Instagram right away. Then I get up and let my dogs outside, make myself a cup of coffee and look at my feed and check my emails.

My favorite outfits are usually the ones that took me less than ten minutes.

How long does it take you to get ready?
Not long at all. I would say about 15-20 minutes. I don’t really wear much makeup. I just put on some mascara and sometimes I like to wear eyeliner. It really just depends on the day. Some days eyeliner goes on real nice and other days I just can’t get both sides to match, so I usually don’t bother. I also don’t do much to my hair. I just curl it a little bit with my hair straightener and then I am ready to go.

How does getting ready prepare you for the rest of the day?
Getting ready and putting an outfit on that makes me feel good makes my mood and whole day better! When you feel good about yourself it makes the day much easier. So I think spending some time to get ready in the morning is a nice way to help put you in a better mood for the day.

What is the one thing in your morning you can't do without?
Instagram! I know that sounds ridiculous, but honestly I do a lot of Instagram stalking in the morning with my cup of coffee. Oh and I can’t do without my coffee!

What gets you motivated to start your day?
Usually music. Also I love looking at Tumblr for inspiration, especially when I am stuck in a rut on what I should wear that day.

Do you plan out your outfits the night before or are you more of a spontaneous morning dresser?
Definitely a spontaneous dresser. If I spend too much time thinking out my outfit it usually isn’t comfortable/me. I really do not like overthinking an outfit. My favorite outfits are usually the ones that took me less than ten minutes.

If you had 15 more minutes in the morning, what would you squeeze in?
I would squeeze in a longer, more relaxing breakfast. I never seem to leave enough time to eat in the morning.
