Angela Paola - NAPLES, FL
Occupation: Freelance model / Plant mom
Bedtime: Very late, midnight or later
Morning alarm: 10 to 12 (if I try hard enough)
How would you describe your morning routine?
Pretty rushed. I always wake up late and try to squeeze everything into a 30 minute time span. Getting out of bed is very difficult for me, and I'm terrible at planning my time accordingly.
How long does it take you to get ready?
That usually depends on my day. If I work, it takes 20 minutes. But if I have the day to myself, I'll take my time showering and making breakfast. I don't like to rush if I don't have to.
What is the one thing in your morning you can't do without?
Definitely orange juice. It's like coffee for me. I don't think I've ever gone a day without it.
What does getting ready look like for you?
Usually laying in bed for ten minutes and thinking about what I have to do. Then watering all my plants, pots included. I take my time deciding what I want to eat, and then I pick out my clothes in five minutes and go. I'm not big on makeup, but I do love sea salt face scrubs & soaps. They help wake me up on groggier mornings.
Do you plan out your outfits the night before or are you more of a spontaneous morning dresser?
My style preference changed daily, so I like to choose my outfits in the morning. I go from 90s grunge to pin-up girl overnight!
If you had 15 more minutes in the morning, what would you squeeze in?
Writing. I don't do it nearly as much as I used to, and I'm ashamed of that. Along with all forms of creation, it opens your mind and is vital to happiness. It gives you something to look forward to daily.
