How would you describe your morning routine?
I try to wake up about 20 minutes early, so that I have extra time to lay in bed and slowly wake up. I don’t do well when I’m in a rush or have to suddenly wake up and be “on” right away. I think it’s healthy to wake up at a leisurely pace and also to make time for yourself in the morning to start your day.
How long does it take you to get ready?
It depends on whether I have to get ready for a casting or not, but I would say around 40 minutes!
What is the one thing in your morning you can't do without?
I usually can’t do without those few extra minutes laying in bed and taking my time to wake up. I treasure that time; it's a luxury!
What does getting ready look like for you?
If I have a casting then I have to fully get ready and do hair, makeup, and find the appropriate outfit to fit the casting. Since I live in San Diego and most of my jobs/castings are in LA, I find myself packing a ton of stuff like extra outfits, workout gear, food for the day, toiletries, etc., that I may need if I stay overnight with friends.
Do you plan out your outfits the night before or are you more of a spontaneous morning dresser?
Ninety nine percent of the time I'm a spontaneous dresser. I’m in a different mood every morning :).
If you had 15 more minutes in the morning, what would you squeeze in?
If I had 15 more minutes, I would squeeze in some yoga, stretching, or a quick walk. There’s nothing like getting energy from a little exercise to get the blood flowing.
