Haley Camille Freedman - VENICE, CA
Occupation: Wardrobe Stylist
Bedtime: My bedtime varies depending on how early I have to wake up the next morning. On week days I try to go to sleep at a decent hour, but I’m never in bed before midnight.
Wake up: It depends entirely on that day's schedule, but on a day off I’ll usually get up around 10 AM.
How would you describe your morning routine?
I’m not exactly a morning person so my mornings usually start off slow until the coffee kicks in. I snooze my alarm once or twice and cuddle with my pup until I really have to jump out of bed. I quickly throw on an outfit and run out the door usually at the very last minute.
How long does it take you to get ready?
I like to think that it takes me 30 minutes to get ready, but it usually takes me about 45 minutes, which is why I end up speeding up the process towards the end.
What is the one thing in your morning you can't do without?
Listening to music while getting ready. But coffee and puppy cuddles are just as necessary!
What is your favorite or least favorite part of your morning?
Physically getting up and out of my insanely comfortable bed.
What does getting ready look like for you?
Getting ready in the morning consists of me throwing on the same vintage Harley Davidson tee and old denim that I wear every single day with either my Birkenstocks or infamous red booties. I don’t wear make-up and hardly ever brush my hair so I’m easy! Getting ready for the night means trying on about 5 different outfits before resorting back to the same vintage tee and mom jeans… I’m all about my comfort zone.
Do you plan out your outfits the night before or are you more of a spontaneous morning dresser?
I only plan the night before if I know I have to be somewhere early and look somewhat put together. Usually I just throw something on.
If you had 15 more minutes in the morning, what would you squeeze in?
I would definitely sleep in for those extra 15 minutes cuddled up with my dog deep under the covers.
